Privacy Policy

This policy describes how ASGO Recherche, a brand of Boréal.IA inc., handles the information related to its surveys. It repeats, word for word, the commitments shown to every respondent before they agree to participate — because a promise made on a consent screen is only worth something if it is the same everywhere.

Anonymous responses

Your responses are anonymous: no name, no email address, no IP address is recorded. We cannot link a completed questionnaire to an identifiable person, and we do not try to. Results are analyzed and reported in aggregate form only.

What we collect

We collect your answers to the questionnaire, along with minimal technical data — device type, browser language, response time. This paradata is used solely for quality control: detecting rushed answers, automated attempts and inconsistent questionnaires. It serves no other purpose.

Where, and for how long

The data is hosted in Canada (Supabase, Montréal region). It is kept for a maximum of 24 months, then destroyed.

What we never do

• Your data is never sold or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
• We never create synthetic respondents: no response is ever generated, completed or imputed by artificial intelligence.
• We use no advertising trackers or profiling tools on our questionnaires.

Participation is voluntary

Answering an ASGO Recherche survey is always voluntary. You can stop at any time by closing the page, with no justification and no consequence.

Your rights (Law 25)

Under Quebec’s Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information (Law 25), you may exercise your rights of access and withdrawal by writing to us. Because responses are anonymous, these rights apply to the information we would actually be able to link to you — in most cases there is none, and we will explain that to you clearly.
